The home comfortably sleeps up to 7 overnight guests across three queen bedrooms, a rolling trundle, and a twin sleep sofa located on the 1st floor.

The primary renter must be 30 years or older. A valid driver’s license is required for verification.

Yes, modifications are possible when availability allows. All changes must be requested before the cancellation deadline.

We handle all reservations through our secure booking system, RezStream, to ensure a smooth and protected experience from start to finish. When you click “Check Availability” or “Book Now,” you’ll be directed to our booking portal where you can view real-time availability, select your dates, and complete your reservation.

All transactions are encrypted and your personal information is kept strictly confidential, so you can book with confidence. Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive all the details you need for your stay, along with access to helpful information to start planning your time at Helm House.

  • 100% refund if cancelled 60 days or more before check-in

  • No refund if cancelled less than 60 days before check-in

  • Cleaning fees and security deposits are refunded if you never check in

  • Requests must be made by 11:59 PM EST to qualify within policy

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your plans, as standard cancellation terms still apply.

Reservation transfers are not guaranteed and must be approved in writing in advance.

No events, parties, or additional overnight guests are permitted.

Yes. Children of all ages are welcome.

Balloons, posters, streamers, or signs may not be attached or displayed outside the home.

Personal photography is welcome. Commercial photography or filming requires written permission.

Yes. Free driveway parking for up to 2 vehicles is included. Additional town parking may be available but could involve fees or time limits.

The Helm House® is nestled downtown, but on a private hill overlooking the entire harbor. We are directly across the street from the waterfront.

Absolutely! Fresh linens, bath towels, The Original MakeUp Erasers®, and essential toiletries are included for every stay.

Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is provided throughout the home.

Guests are asked to maintain good housekeeping, respect neighbors, follow local ordinances, and care for our home as if it were their own.

Guests are financially responsible for damages or missing items. Security deposits are typically processed within 3 days after departure, pending inspection.

Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property.

Government travel restrictions, declared emergencies, or natural disasters may impact travel. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for added protection.
